Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract optional
  • Cooking spray for waffle iron

Instructions
 

Preparing the Batter:

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then mix in milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and almond extract (if using).
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients, whisking until just mixed. Some small lumps are okay.
  • Let batter rest for 5-10 minutes while you preheat the waffle iron.

Cooking the Bubble Waffles:

  • Preheat the bubble waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Lightly coat the waffle iron with cooking spray.
  • Pour about 3/4 cup of batter onto the center of the waffle iron and close the lid.
  • Cook for 3-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

  • Remove the waffle carefully using tongs or a fork. Shape into a cone if desired.
